The research topic has been the trademark of a part of team members for more than two decades now. Running efforts focus on characterizing ongoing scabies outbreaks in large mammal populations (Ruminants, Omnivores, Carnivores) in Europe, and critically analyzing the control strategies implemented by relevant agencies. Study methods are those of descriptive and molecular epidemiology, pharmacocynetics and Citizen Science.
